All have kitchenettes with microwave, hob, fridge, toaster, coffee machine, kettle and dishwasher although they are sold on a bed and breakfast basis. The living area has a flat screen TV with cable channels, video on demand and DVD player and WiFi.

Portuguese and international cuisine.
Breakfast is served from 07:00am to 10:00am on weekdays and until 11:00am on weekends. Dinner from 7pm until 10pm. Children's menu.
During summer themed nights such as fish night or the Italian buffet night.
Pool & Grill Bar
Located on the terrace, in front of the Monte da Quinta Suites outdoor swimming pool. The specialities are grilled fish and meat.
If you would rather have lighter meals, or meals out of the regular time, there are a variety of salads to cold & hot snacks served from 11am to 6pm and until 8pm in summer. Children's menu available.
Quinta restaurant and cafe
Located in the Club house open at peak times only, closed in winter.
Restaurants may not all be open especially in low season, this is at hotel's discretion.
Babysitting
€17 per hour by the staff from the kids club/crèche staff or freelance sitters. Maximum 3 children (siblings), 24 hours notice needed. (rates can change without notice)
Crèche
Open 9.30am - 5.30pm daily from March to October and by prior reservation only November to February.
It is fully supervised and caters for children from 6 - 36 months. Must be pre-booked, cost is €17 Euors per hour with half or full day rates also available. Lunch can also be arranged.
Hakuna Matata Club
4 -12 years, open all year. Each day there are 2 sessions 10-1pm, 2-5pm. The aim is fun animation, sessions (art and craft, lego, games, treasure hunts etc) cannot be pre-booked and children must be signed in and out by an adult.
Baby/toddler equipment
Cots are complimentary if requested at the time of booking.
Bottle sterilizers, bottle warmers, baby monitors, baby pen, bouncing chair, baby bath, tricycles, stollers and bed rails can be requested at extra charge. All must be prebooked.

Beach
A daily shuttle operates to the lovely sandy beach at Quinta da Lago (approx 2kms) in high season (July and August) for 2012. If going outside of these months we would recommend car hire for the duration of your stay. There is a wooden walkway to beach from drop-off/parking. Monta da Quinta has its own sunbeds (15 Euros per day to include towel), there is a restaurant and toilet facilities.
Pool
The pools aren't heated. There is a lovely children's splash area at the Monte da Quinta Club pool. Children are allowed to use the heated indoor spa pool for certain hours each day in winter, spring and Autumn.
Useful
All rooms have a well equipped kitchen or kitchenette. There is a small resort shop that sells basic essentials and nappies etc. The town of Almancil is a 10 minute car drive away, where there is a good choice of shops and restaurants.

Medical Centre and small pharmacy (for bits not anti bios) in Quinta da Lago. Nearest proper pharmacy in Almancil (10 mins max) Doctor on call 24 hours. Nearest hospital in Faro (20/25 mins max).

What will the weather be like...
The Algarve on Portugal’s southern coast is blessed with sunshine all year.
May – September offers the best sunshine, warm and sunny with an average of 11 hours sunshine a day and virtually no rainfall, average temperatures ranging between 23 – 30 C, although the sea breeze usually makes it pleasant in the hottest months.
The Algarve is a year round destination and winters are mild and perfect for families if you just want to relax and be warmer than in the UK. Daily temps are 15-18'C, perfect for golf or tennis. You would expect rain on some days between November - March.
